Accessibility statement
The EACoding website considers equal, accessible service for all users — including people with disabilities — a top priority. The site was designed and built to meet Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.
Conformance level
The site conforms to IS 5568 at level AA (per WCAG 2.1). Accessibility was implemented in the site's own code — not via an external overlay widget.
Adaptations implemented
- Full keyboard navigation across the site, including menus, accordions and forms (Tab, Enter, Esc).
- Correct semantic structure: heading hierarchy, labelled navigation landmarks and a skip-to-content link.
- Color contrast meeting level-AA requirements across text and UI components.
- A clear, visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Alternative text for images, and fully labelled form fields with associated error messages.
- Support for the reduced-motion preference — all animations switch off automatically.
- A display-preferences panel: text scaling, animation stop, link underlining and high contrast.
- The site is screen-reader compatible and tested with VoiceOver and NVDA.
Browser & assistive-technology compatibility
The site is tested in current mainstream browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop and mobile, and with the VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) and NVDA (Windows) screen readers.
Known exceptions
Some project screenshots in the portfolio originate from external websites outside our control. If you encounter an inaccessible component — we'd like to know, and we'll fix it quickly.
