Jello — a task-management app (React + Node)

The challenge

Build a complete Trello-style web application — boards, lists and drag-and-drop cards, real-time collaboration, and permissions — from the database to the last pixel.

What I built

A full-stack application end to end:

• React on the client — a fast drag-and-drop interface with optimistic state updates, so everything feels instant.
• Node + MongoDB on the server — a full API with real-time updates between users.
• A structured component system — cards, labels, checklists, due dates — each component independent and extensible.

The result

A project that demonstrates building a whole product — not just brochure sites: data architecture, complex UI, and real-time behavior.
